Reshoring from China to Los Angeles – A PPE Case Study
Bringing manufacturing back to the USA from China can be a difficult decision. In Eric’s talk, he’ll share his experience in working with a Los Angeles based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) manufacturer to bring PPE product components from China to the USA. His talk will go over the decision process and rollout of the compelling reshoring business case study. Interestingly, this decision to reshore was made before the COVID-19 pandemic, and he will share his experience with us and answer questions. You will walk away with the guidelines to help your clients with their reshoring process.

Rebuild American Manufacturing and Domestic Supply Chains
Are we heading into a manufacturing resurgence? After losing 5.8 million manufacturing jobs from 2000 – 2010, we have regained over 1 million jobs since 2011, and companies are returning manufacturing to the U.S. from China. Michele will present information from her book, “Rebuild Manufacturing – the key to American Prosperity” on the current state of manufacturing, what has helped reshoring to increase, and what needs to be done to create a secure domestic supply chain.
