APICS Inland Empire Fall 2019 Symposium to Focus on Collaboration as Key for Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chain Success

CLAREMONT, CA – October 22, 2019 APICS Inland Empire Chapter (APICS-IE), the leader in accreditation of supply chain and operations professionals, part of The Association of Supply Chain Management (ASCM), is proud to announce the focus of the Fall 2019 Symposium: Collaborating for Advanced Manufacturing & Supply Chain Success. The Symposium will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 8am – 11:30am at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, California.

The Fall 2019 Symposium will include a panel discussion featuring four key executives experienced in advanced manufacturing and logistics.  “Robotics, IoT, Additive Manufacturing, Autonomous Vehicles, GIP Mapping and Smart Clean Logistics Technologies are already impacting manufacturing and the supply chain.  Southern California can become the world’s leader in advanced manufacturing and logistics.  It takes strategy, collaborating, planning and embracing new technologies,” commented Lisa Anderson, APICS-IE Chapter Leader and President of LMA Consulting Group. “We are excited about the conversation and the opportunities,” she continued.

The panel includes:  Kevin Meredith, Founder of Fourth Sector Ontario and former Boeing executive; Cindy Elliott, Global Go-To-Market Strategy at ESRI; Adam Brammer, Division VP and Business Unit Manager for AMETEK Ameron; and, Ann Lee Carpenter, CEO & Co-Founder, Braid Theory. “We are excited to hear from these experts.  Each panelist brings unique experience and perspective to advanced manufacturing and logistics, the impact of technology and the opportunity for Southern California,” Ms. Anderson concluded.
